Rapid Kit for Enumeration of Somatic Coliphages

Rapid Kit for Enumeration of Somatic Coliphages

BPF-SE

ENUMERA® Rapid Kit

Bacteriophage: Somatic Coliphages

Description
Kit designed for the specific Enumeration of somatic coliphages in 100 mL of water. Patented technology based on colour change that occurs in the culture medium due to the lysis of the host strain if the somatic coliphages are present in the water sample. Quantification is by Most Probable Number method.

Easy, Express, Efficient, Effective and Electronic are key benefits of Bluephage’s Rapid Kit technology to improve your operations by making processes more cost-effective.

Easy

All-in-one and ready-to-use kits.

Free-agar technology.
No need for overnight plating and manual reading.

Electronic

Bluephage app
Automatic data reading and cloud uploading results.

Effective

High sensitivity and specificity.

Express

20 minutes of hands-on time.

Simplifies and improves the coliphage detection process.

Efficient

Results in record time.

Analysis and detection of coliphages in less than 6,5h. The closest technique for real-time monitoring.

Easy, express, effective, efficient.

BLUEPHAGE validation demonstrates that the BPF-SE kit presents a detection level equivalent to the ISO 10705-2 method. This detection level represents the minimum theoretical concentration of microorganisms required to yield observable growth with a probability of P = 0.95 when introduced into a specific culture medium and subjected to controlled incubation conditions, as specified in the ISO 16140-1 and ISO 13843 methods.

The BPF-SE kit detects somatic coliphages at 1 PFU/100 mL.
