Bluephage advocates for coliphage monitoring in water at Singapore International Water Week 2022
Bluephage was present at Singapore International Water Week 2022 (SIWW2022), presenting its solutions to ensure safe, pathogen-free water and its commitment to contributing to a sustainable water future.
Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2022 took place from 17-21 April at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
SIWW is one of Asia’s leading international water events, bringing together thought leaders, experts, and practitioners from government, utilities, academia, and industry to share and co-create innovative solutions to address pressing global urban water challenges.
Organised by PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency, SIWW addressed all aspects of the urban water cycle and discussed current trends and issues in the sector. Emerging topics such as digital water, resource recovery, and resilience to climate change were central to all discussions on the future of water at SIWW.
Bluephage participated in the fair in partnership with its regional distributor, Asia Technology & Engineering Pte Ltd, presenting the Catalan start-up’s solutions for monitoring coliphages in water to the Asian market.
With great success, Nuria Grandes, Bluephage’s Commercial Director, presented the company’s product portfolio during the Product Showcase sessions, in which she argued how the speed and efficiency of Bluephage’s water testing kits to detect coliphages could revolutionise and upgrade the way water is monitored, making a difference to disease rates from water contaminated with faeces and other pathogenic viruses.
