Introduction

Our Online training sessions can be taken during any month of the year and gives you the opportunity to learn how to analyse coliphages from the office or even the comfort of your own living room! You will be able to discover the simple, fast and effective Bluephage Methods for coliphage detection and enumeration from an instructor with numerous years of experience working with coliphages and even more working in microbiology. I addition to this, you will briefly learn about the latest regulations regarding water analysis and the role coliphages play in them.

Instructors

Julia Martin Diaz

Doctor in Environmental Microbiology and Biotechnology (UB). Extensive experience in microbiological water quality assessment and the use of bacteriophages as indicators of fecal contamination in the water cycle.

Miriam Pascual Benito

Doctor in Biotechnology (University of Barcelona). More than 8 years of experience in microbial water quality monitoring and the assessment of different tools to detect, quantify and model faecal pollution in water.

Núria Guilera Grandes

MSC in Chemistry by the University of Barcelona. More than 13 years of experience working in laboratories and more than 8 years of experience managing them. She arrives to Bluephage after more than three successful years as the General Manager of a 17025 accredited water testing laboratory in London analysing more than 35,000 samples per month and with a headcount above 70. During her professional experience, Núria has worked in different sectors as water, petroleum and applied research as researcher and Director.
